I got good news and bad news and "eh" news.

The good news is that I got the frame completely disassembled on that "re-engineering" project I'm working on. :grinning:

The 'eh' news is that I broke two drill bits drilling out the pins holding it together. :mask:

The bad news is that I don't qualify for food assistance. I make too much in unemployment. The same unemployment that will make my mortgage but nothing else. No light bill, no water bill, no food. If I were a crack ho with 4 illegitimate children from 4 different deadbeat drug addict fathers, I would qualify for all kinds of assistance. All I needed was 1 month. One stinking month of help. That's all I was asking for until I get my first paycheck form my new job, which won't happen for several weeks. I know scum who have been living off of my taxes for literally generations. They make me want to throw up every time I see them in Wal-Mart buying beef steak when all I can afford is chicken quarters, if that. The welfare system in this country only helps those who do nothing to contribute to society. And it punishes the rest of us who have self respect and work for everything that we have. :P :angry: :wall: :cat:

That´s so sad to read..:cry:

People always think here in Brazil that USA is somehow like paradise, but every Eden has it´s snakes and apples,right?

We have here same problem...actually,it spreads to health insurance,puclib health care, public hospitals,and public education...

There are people who make money here...but we must spend a lot on private hospitals and private schools and colleges...

Even being on the capitalism side, I must say that those problems are a result of an unplanned capitalism...:mask:
