Actually, I was little frustrated...there was gonna be a huge party there...

But I see it like a lesson....to see things less from "material" side, and more to the real meaning of that....staying here I´ll be with my family....:grinning::grinning:

PS: I think I´m finally getting out my childhood now...

I know....luckily (or not), here the poors travel inside the country, to the big cities, crowding them with "Favelas" (those precarious habitations)...

I must be honest and not complain about my situation...I´m a "lucky" one that was born in the "international" side of Brazil....but I see everyday the situation of those who weren´t,and that makes me sad....even sadder that there´s not much to do,while the government here is sooooo corrupt...

You can vote the bastards out of office. That's the only thing a citizen can actually do. It's a huge problem here, too. Only about 10% of those who are registered to vote actually bother to do so. I'm one of them who does. If you don't vote, then you deserve the government you get. Want to see a really corrupt American state. Look at Louisiana. Look how they handled Hurricane Katrina. A real disgrace, that was. :P
