If I would need to define "pure trance" with one track from 2012 then this would have been it. Amazing combination of a psytrance influenced groove, great chord progression, solid production, nice little melody and some good old 303 acid action. Timeless and fresh at the same time and without a hit of cheese in it. Just the way I like my trance

10. Orkidea: Unity (Solarstone's Pure Mix)

I wanted to include one of my own tracks here and this seemed like the right one to pick. It was a hard decision to even touch the original 'Unity' from 1999 but I thought to update it for me "20" album and 20 Years of DJing Tour. I worked over a year on my own update while Rich Solarstone also wanted to do a mix and I think he delivered one of his best mixes to date. This one was also the very first of Solarstone's "Pure" mixes which kinda led to the whole "pure trance" movement which seems to be picking interest and support more and more at the moment. Thanks to everyone who has supported us!
