well it does not sound like the kind of house that is typically called house. the thing is it's still got that emotional feeling, listen to their miami set , it may not be the trance sound of years ago, but it's still trance, the evolution of trance. and the sound is definitely not the mainstream trance sound that Armin pushes.

Don't know. Or care, as long as people don't call it trance. I know the direction they have been going in, heard some productions & saw them last year. Although they have had some productions with trance elements.

At least Armin pushes trance, Above and Beyond does not. Even though I don't like either of those sounds. I can't call something trance with electro build-ups and drops.

But btw I was talking about the radio show, I didn't say that Above and Beyond playing house at their shows.

Actually you're right. Their productions may be "trouse" but I think their live sets at least are very housey.
