automix, i never tried that feature, but i will try next time, i am exploring the version 8 yet, and it's free what is a good thing

it's free if only uses PC, but if you want to plug a external mixer you need to pay a license

Ablleton live allows you to automix I think if you feed it enough tracks with close enough bpms to each other , it will get close

no you still have to pick all the tracks, and EQ.

Of course you must select tracks. Don't exactly know about EQ; can it all be done at once before pressing that mixing button?
