Back in 2022, I remember when I ordered pierogi and a coffee. I was expecting to get a glass of water to clear my tastebuds, but I didn't get it, so I asked for it. A waitress didn't give me this, I even said it could be tap water. I think she was scared that's it's some kind of inspection 😂

Don't think so 😂 I know one thing: it should be a standard to provide some water when you order a coffee.

By the way, earlier this year I was in another restaurant and they provide water free of charge when you take a seat.

if i'm not mistaking, that's the story of Vodka (from Voda (water) and the affective -ka) because at one time contaminated water was frequent, but vodka and other alcohols were free of bacteria

however, nowadays, in most country, water sanitation and controls are strict and it's safe to drink tap water and if not, you're notified
