God, please help me. I spent 2.25 hours and 5 phone calls finding out why the University of Houston didn't send my transcript to Texas State-San Marcos. Then went to the unemployment office to see my Workforce Investment Act counselor. My little grocery/gas card program is expiring for me. This was the last time I can do it. Guess what? They are raising the amount from $10/day to $20/day and I can't get in on that. To make things worse, I found out that my degree program at Texas State does not accept funding from WIA. If I wanted to be a teacher or nurse or medical billing assistant, yes, but a REAL career? No. She suggested that I ask them to participate. I will do that, but I imagine that the Department Head will laugh in my face. Damn, damn, damn. For a short while, I really believed I was going to be okay. Now it's all uncertainty and fear again.
