I don't know this and other tracks of him either. I think probably sounded the same a year back.

Anyway, I am too much complaining this evening, let's forget about it. Not so important.

Looks like I am not so much in a progressive mood today, somehow I am not feeling this set at all- apart from the first track.

So I better be quiet and self-critical before complaining about certain tracks here and the Dj plaing them

Have to listen this set again- when I am in a better and/or more "progressive" mood. Then I can vote Votes are always a subjective thing and it's possible that I would vote completely different after listening this again as right now.....

Alright, I finally voted: Not my style :blush:

My personal conclusion:

1. I was wrong at the beginning; I actually missed Marcus Schössow or better said his sound during this set...

2. I really like to listen to a lot of different things, but this set somehow sounded boring to me. Too minimalistic for me I guess

3. OMGWTF happened to Umek and Techno in general.....?

He produces/plays tech house, techno yea

...To me these cheesy squeaky electro minimal tunes nowadays are neither Tech-House (still existing??) nor Techno!! Well, if "Techno", then minimal Techno like you can call the last track of the set; Format B is good.
Well, I am not really an expert, so might be wrong of course...just my opinion. These days all previously separated styles are getting mixed up anyway, as one can see in Trance over the past years...

well - don't have a clear ( sound ) image of how Umek sounded a year back....

I think he sounded the same. Probably changed his style several years back when Minimal was becoming popular

Electronic Music is always progressing, and so was the old techno sound- unfortunately imo

No wonder I listen so much Trance nowadays hehe
