Kidd & Kutski Experience – Club Mantra – Castlebar
Bank Holiday Sunday 31 July
Two of the world’s most exciting harder-edged DJs bring their exclusive hard dance showcase to Castlebar this month as Alex Kidd and Kutski present the Irish debut of the Kidd & Kutski Experience!
The UK duo have chosen Club Mantra as the location for their decks and effects master-class, performing live on stage on Bank Holiday Sunday 31st July.

Fans will be treated to a relentless set of audio niceties jam-packed with samples, cuts, bootlegs, private mixes and frantic scratching. It is one of the most exciting live acts in dance music right now.

The Kidd & Kutski Experience was devised last summer for six special festival performances.
Such was the response from festival-goers and industry insiders that the world’s biggest dance music magazine, Mixmag, commissioned the pair to produce a cover mount CD for their August issue – the first hard dance artists to be asked to do so in over a decade!
Combining their skills as two of the most technically gifted DJs behind the decks, and with a highly innovative live performance strategy, Kidd and Kutski are at the forefront of the world’s hard dance movement.
Kutski is BBC Radio One’s newest superstar and spokesman of hard dance. He is undoubtedly one of the scene’s proudest representatives.
With breathtaking technical ability, incorporating DMC-style scratching and mixing into perfectly constructed sets, it’s not difficult to see why he has earned the tag; ‘The People’s Favourite’.
Last month Kutski became the first UK artist to perform on the main stage of Defqon One festival in Holland.
He has already completed his 2011 tour of Australia and has a plethora of UK festival appearances lined up throughout the summer.
His latest track with TnT (Technoboy & Tuneboy), 'Sucksess’, is also set for a summer release.
Kiddfectious head honcho and international hard dance idol Alex Kidd has certainly stamped his authority on the worldwide dance music scene.
With an evolving sound, and an ever-advancing skill set, he is without doubt one of the most respected and acclaimed pioneers of harder dance.
Kidd has just mixed his latest album 'International Hard Dance Sessions USA Focus', which is due for release on all major download portals in August.
He has also installed another full summer of Kiddfectious gigs at Castle Club in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, and is set to release new tracks 'Wasting Time' and 'Happiness Happening' on his Kiddfectious record label.
The Kidd & Kutski Experience sees both artists combine to perform on no less than four CD decks, two laptops, two Vestax VCI Itch controllers, one DJM mixer, one Vestax Itch FX and one EFX unit – a staggering amount of DJ and live performance kit.
It is a visually stunning display of digital technical ability and craftsmanship, and Irish fans now have the opportunity to witness it for themselves!
