its too crowded, there's no air, drinks and water are a ripoff, almost everyone is stoned, all sweaty, thus no respect for the other
its just annoying when youre in the middle of it

Nah, Ableton isn't all that easy. It is a ***** to beatmatch sometimes. I'm having trouble. But I'm going to use it for Live Sets, since I am too broke for equipment

i don´t know man,is just i don´t like the idea of a software doing it for you,is not the same as if you do with decks or vinyls,that really determinates Dj skills,and many people is leaving that behind

you missed armin ? come to think of it, maybe it was a good idea, i am positive you wiil get to enjoy his sets more when he does it at some other time of the year. now, it is NYE and first of all, way too many ppl will be there, and second, armin will be spinning 10 tracks every 5 minutes or so , you will not enjoy them like you want, to be fairly honest.

I want to learn ableton to understand the mechanics of mixing. Then I want to get equipment to understand the motions of mixing.

Nah, Ableton isn't all that easy. It is a ***** to beatmatch sometimes. I'm having trouble. But I'm going to use it for Live Sets, since I am too broke for equipment

ableton is really easy to beatchmatch, you just have to set the warp points and thats it

the trick is that, for the warp points to be correct, you need to have the track at a constant bpm, thus, original quality, not a rip

if not then its when it gets tricky, you have to set up manually each of the warp points (or the kicks ) that are messed
