Got a point there. I have the feeling fora are getting something from a past time though. Or at least the 'spam fora'/social interaction fora are, since more and more people are doing this on twitter and facebook kinda media. This was not really possible 5 years ago.
But anyway, it's still an important and a fun way to interact with other fans and/or Dj's. Twitter is in some ways too fragmented for that, and facebook obviously not open enough.
