My favorite sets were recerded by Pulse Origin and Lucas Bielecki! Great technique in both sets with an amazing vibe!!!
 
Just a suggestion... can we delete posts with sets that didn't qualify to the poll and move them to another thread? It's making a mess in my opinion and makes it harder to look for the reviews of contest mixes. I think it would be better to stay on topic...

My review of the mixes posted for the contest has just begun. The selection of tracks simply amazes me, with the list going far beyond that of my own. With that said, here's the list of reviews. Please note that the reviews are not ordered in any way. A dice roll determines which mixes i listen to, every day :wink:

Distant Moon
The good: Sweet balance between instrumental and vocal tracks
The Bad: No flow in the mix, given very rough transitions.
Notes: Your sound card should be tweaked. Audible skips in audio were heard.
Overall: 3/5

Pkomar
The good: Great selection of tracks and mostly mixed in key. Nice technique as well.
The Bad: Just nitpicking here: Longer transitions would have made the mix smoother and unify the tracks as one.
Overall: 4.5/5

SoundBarrier

The good: Skillful mastering and mixing skills. Unique tracks complements the mix
The Bad: The transition between Signum - Third Dimension (Original Mix) [Armada Music Bundle] and Dreamy - Scar (Artra & Holland Remix) is quite lengthy, which decreases the flow at that one point.
Overall: 4.7/5

The good: Awesome selection of tracks mixed in a one sweet package of trance delight
The bad: (None).

The good: Mind-Blowing psy trance mix with flawless transitions.
The Bad: (none)
Overall: 5/5

Tom Amy
The good: Wonderful selection of uplifting tracks mixed in key and great transitions.
The Bad: Intro track is a bit too lengthy to really capture the mood. Also, transition from intro sound to the first bass of ‘black hole’ could have been much better.
Overall: 4.9/5

Upliftboy
The good: Because it’s uplifting, that’s why :) On a more serious note, great tracks mixed in key.
The Bad: Transitions are very lengthy which loses the flow of the mix.
Note: Clipping on several tracks was very audible due to harsh limiter settings. Be mindful of that limiter :wink:
Overall: 4/5

Denima
The good: Great intro to the mix. Selection of tracks fits the style of the mix completely
The Bad: (None)
Overall: 5/5
 
Really looking forward to this years EOYC event. I'm hoping Jelly asked Paris Hilton to be part of the event hahahaha :P

word on the street is Avicii and Hardwell will be headlining this years eoyc with both of em playing 7 hour sets each :bully: :bully:
