Askew was bonkers. Really good stuff, loads of IDs, great mixing of styles and overall just a kick ass party. You should have attended at least one show :rofl:

agreed, im sad about it.. but i'll be at FSOE400 this wkend, so thatll more than make up for it.. oh that venue in SD is just a little different than what im used to.. all those kids running around worries me.. i was at the damaged show a few months ago w suckley, sherry, and adam ellis, amazing that was

Yea, the venue was sketchy. I talked to some folks that go there regularly and then mentioned that not a lot of policing is happening, so pretty much everything goes. However, I didn't let that bother me, but there a couple of people that were a nuisance.

I had flown in from Dallas so I had to make a choice between seeing Askew last week, SiPatt & Gabriel & Dresden this week, or attending FSOE. The tickets for FSOE are expensive so I decided to skip it. At least I'm still getting some nice shows with extended sets, which is more to my liking to be honest.

that was a great choice im sure.. he so rarely plays in the states nowadays..
