I have a hard time telling the difference. I need someone to sit down and play the different kinds and point out to me what the differences are. Color me confused.

this is a good starting point -> Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music
however a bit outdated already, so not 100% accurate (if this is possible at all...) especially on the "progressive" side it seems to differ with the common understanding these days, seems to be more on the historical side...

well one way to do it is to go to beatport or trackitdown and try the samples


and sign up as you said on that group...i don't see you there
