Yeah, I used to listen to Kristoff quite often. He's from out west though, probably a couple thousand km's or so. Not a lot comes out of Canada, yet there are plenty of people who enjoy the music. It's mainly just house and drum and bass dj's here, oh, and breaks dj's.

that is because it was a fresh sound back then.

but now, its everywhere. and imo there are not very many original and underground productions like before. instead, its all "copy and paste track here and there" type of tracks made now.

I DO however, like old-school uplifting trance (from years 2003 to 2007) and listen to that a little every now and then.

bottom line: the new uplift sounds are not doing too much for me. :no:

thus...i gotta move on. :driver:

But if I was into tech, minimal and all these zik zik tunes I would be happy to live here... most of the clubs/bar I m going, are playing your shit :P

The internet and forums like this are wonderful places for discovering like minded people. I come here everyday because I know of nobody near me who likes trance or who even knows what its all about. Like they say, all Hip Hop and R and B. Here I can speak with people who will not frown when I mention trance. I live in Uk, btw:grinning:

well we have some pop/crappy dance/80s clubs here + one house (playing all the time same tracks :mask:) and other one that plays mostly prog/tech trance/asot tunes, but not much uplifting :) so im ok with that last one :)

Places like this show me that I truly live in mega nowhereville. but I love the conversations. I lurk a lot here.

but in UK trance is growing very fast, we can see most of labels and Dj's/Producers are coming from UK, maybe London area:music:


here in Lisbon is the same nobody knows what trance is, and the clubs only plays shit and that thing they call hip-hop in the radios:P:P:P
