Yea, German and Danish are quite similar in some phrases :mask:
If you ever come to Denmark, just go around and say that :)

:lol: what about swedish then, Hejsan allihopa = hello everybody :)
 
^ talking about slavic languages, if you know one, you can easily understand words from the other slavic languages.

Personally I understand about 80% Serbian, which in turn allows me to speak Bosnian and Croatian as well, and understand a few words in Russian. My native language is Albanian though, which has no connection to the Slavic ones.

wow, similar phrase again :bully: is that enough to learn Swedish or Danish, and then you can communicate in all the Scandinavian languages? :lol:

haha, we were talking about Slavic languages before :lol: i learn some of them and agree, they are similar :wink: but Slovenian, for example, is quite different, some words are a bit weird :mask:

Agree, Slovenian is much different, probably because they were close to the Germans and Italians. lol
