Matt Skyer has been making quite a name for himself over the past year with a string of high quality releases and first place in the Sean Tyas "Lift" remix competition.

Earlier this year he released his first single on Discover Dark to critical acclaim and this eagerly awaited follow up looks set to create similar waves!

Bad Trip is dark and dirty stab driven techno, cooked to perfection and served up just how we like it at Discover Dark.

Matt Skyer strikes once again with his second massive release called 6 Elements E.P. on the Emphase Recordings. Matt is one of the few trance producers to have a unique sound underpinned by the fact that he is one of the promising talents. His previous Lunar E.P. release had great feedbacks and massive support from DJ's like: Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Aly & Fila, Sean Tyas, Airbase, Daniel Kandi, Sebastian Brandt just to name a few... This time Matt offers as the E.P. title shows - 6 big quality tunes. Opening track is Canberra, which is great introduction to the whole E.P. Fantastic uplift with an immensely powerful breakdown and pulsing bassline! Electric Globe is the second one, it starts with the fast driving baseline then in the main part it strikes with fat electric bass like the track's name says. Already signed to the CD compilation mixed by Simon Patterson! Third element of the release is Villa. Uplifting sound with gentle violin strings in the breakdown and plucky main-melody lead is that what you should expect from this 'element'. Yearning is follow up to the Hidden Love from his last Lunar E.P. Truly emotional trancer with catchy melody with additional epic piano, everything is supported by the groovy uplifting bass! Scythe is based on the huge bass riff!! A track that will cause some serious carnage on the dancefloors over the coming months! The last but not least is Signalpoint that surprise us with the big room lead on the top which makes it awesome unique techy track which for sure can be played at the peak time!
