Hats off to N&R Project themselves on this one, he's someone they found :wink:
How about all the other artists, do you get a lot of demos or do you research a lot when you're "working" :ee:

More than I could ever listen to. I've outsourced to four other people now as well but there is still more than we can get through.

The truth is, the reason we keep finding them is because there are just so many out there!

Sometimes I wish I could dedicate myself to Defcon full time and do more, but whilst it's just a side project there'll only ever be so much I'm able to do. But that said there are lots of other small labels out there just like us all with amazing young artists on their rosters as well, and I'm just glad to be a part of the bigger picture really :)

i am a big fan of the small labels. the often keep the spirit alive bsides of making money with merchandising etc.
