Isn't it also known under the name Superstring ? or something ? The artist was Cygnus X *I think* but I'm not too sure.

No that's a different tune, but it was the Rank 1 remix that was the most successful, which is probably why they sound a bit similar. I have the original Superstring on CD single from 1993 and it sounds a lot different!
