we have a proxy too and when we access to the internet we use the port 8080:hmmm:

Hmmm... much trickier. I've not worked with proxies enough to know if it would still work. I would think that if it were properly tunnelled in HTTP, it might still go through. Is it only HTTP/HTTPS that is directed to the proxy, or is all traffic from your machine proxied?
