It sounds just about perfect. What I mean by above/underground, is will it be a "real" station or one that you run without a license? I've been involved with both. The underground stations are VERY fun. And you learn a LOT when you "build your own". But you DO have to be on your toes. If you don't interfere with other stations, they can live for a very long time and get a lot of listeners. (kiss)

It's a licensed station at the college. I'm just looking at getting a show going on it. The station as a whole is variety itself. You can hear anything from Frank Sinatra to NWA to Cradle Of Filth on it. So the metal is not completely out of the question though.

As for the station I'm hoping to get a job at, and having a good chance of obtaining it, it is set in the format it is, but it is one of the biggest stations in Southern Ontario. Not a small area by any means.

But really, both go out to millions of people.

I have definitely thought of making a station eventually that runs on FM. I've gotten knowledge from a guy with so much experience. I just absorbed all his knowledge he shared. And, I have fun every day I'm there.
