Not really. Ronny K just uses too much high-freq presence for digital sounds, so mp3s from him feel noisy, especially when processed further in the mix.
This is, however, what makes them unbelievably uplifting.

I hadn't listened to the show back before the broadcast as I recorded it late last night, but I had my speakers turned down when I did it, being as it was late, so my EQing on the mixer might be a little off compared to normal. So it could quite easily have been my fault on that one - but I'm sure I'll be playing it again and playing it loud so we'll see!
