I majored in Radio/TV for a time. Even got my license with broadcasters endorsement. Then I discovered, to my great dismay, that if you were not related to someone, married to someone, or sleeping with someone, there were NO jobs in the industry to be had. Only volunteer positions were EVER available. No pay. I did that at two radio stations for a while, hoping for something that would actually pay, but no.

I gave up that dream and went back to Computer Science and fought my way through the shitting Calculus classes. Been programming for a little over 30 years now. :grinning:

It helps that my class is going to take over a large section of the canadian industry. We get along so great we're already like a large family. Once we get on air, we're taking off.

Even a big shot in the industry who came for a guest speaker type of deal left telling us that we are going to change things, he just knows it. Specifically saying not everyone else out there, but our group of people. We're just too involved right away.
