Tuned :music: for the last minutes :)

Honestly, I'll never put as much work on a set again, if the only feedback I get is five smileys on a forum.

Either the timeslot is bad and everyone is either at work, either in commutes or in bed, either the boards are quiet today, but I was expecting a bit more.

My bad.

I'd be spinning live, I'd stop the turntables and queue drum & bass records right now.

Your call dude. It is a good set, just... I dunno. I suppose I don't get why you're pissed at all. You want more replies that tell you how much the set rocks, or are you looking for criticism?

At this stage, all I've seen are almost only smileys or biographies of the artists I play.

I want words, that's it. Either say it sucks you're not feeling that one, or that it rocks.

I guess I was so enthusiastic about this one that I forgot how little feedback you get by playing on the radio.

Well, if you want something that resembles feedback, take into account that the rate of people listening didn't drop below 1200 while you were playing your set. Sure, it isn't mainstream radio with 100.000+ listeners at any given time (to name a number), but maybe it's a start.

And there's of course the issues like people being afraid to say anything bad about anything. Especially on the internet where there's always someone who's willing to tear you a new one for your opinion. So I don't think asking for criticism with this medium will do you any good.

Good luck finding a place where people will tell you what they think though. And your set was indeed rather sweet. : )

Also Jordan you have to take into account that your radioshow is still new. You're only at Episode 11. There are only a few djs who have been able to go the distance & do past 100 shows. Now I will give ya props in the fact that you created a show that has more than 15 tracks in it. I never thought of myself as giving feedback (not sure why), but in this case I will def vote your show massive, mostly because you REALLY requested that feedback. I have never heard of a dj who really wanted the feedback as much as you do, so you definitely got my attention there. I am really surprised that you managed to get 18 tracks spun together within an hour. The only other show that I can think of that can come close to that (or even attempt to come close) is W&W's Mainstage show. So I give ya props for this attempt.

1 thing I will say is continue to create show & the more shows you do, the more that people will begin to talk about you. Again, your show is still new, so it will take time. Man I dont even have a show up & I am still waiting & working on my transition skills. Never give up hope & always try to improve upon yourself!! The moment you decide its not worth it, then people will stop believing in you.

You should just be happy you have a show at all -- with listeners and people to post smilies and bio posts so you don't have to sit alone on the forums while the toons are on the airwaves.

As far as I know, the point of a radio show is to get your name and the tracks of other artists out there, and possibly in the process show off some spinning skills. The listeners are not obligated to do anything but listen, please get over yourself.
