Yes the very first released was the vinyl, the original track is from 2006, and the cd start to use it

https://www.discogs.com/Above-Beyond-Alone-Tonight/master/18627 when you take a minute and do read a bit ... you find out things do usually happen in chronological order. Vinyl was invented long before MP3
