10. ReLocate vs Robert Nickson - Resource (Original Mix) [A State Of Trance/Armada]

Dutch producers Re:Locate and Robert Nickson present the first of hopefully many more collaborations to come. Kept exclusive for the Universal Religion Chapter 5 album, but now finally revealed, are 'Resource' & 'Prevening'!

Two names that have kept the trance sound alive and kicking throughout the years, without questioning the endless options of experimenting in sound. Paul Moelands, veiling under Octagen and Re:Locate and responsible for classic 'Rogue', 'Waterfall' and remixes for Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten and more. Robert Nickson, the producer behind highlights like 'Godless', 'Superlative', 'We Won't Forget' and of course legendary classic 'Spiral', with his tracks soaking with mind-shivering melodies. Put these guys together and the outcome is no less than extraordinary.

'Resource' already won the hearts of the 'Universal Religion Chapter 5' listeners, kicking in with a punch of energy, heavy bass guitar, pounding beats and a rolling melody that catches on from the minute it hits in. 'Prevening' on the other hand builds on a reminiscent 90's trance vibe, breaking into a medley of strings, deep drums and full-on sweeping synths right after the break. Two musical pieces of outstanding quality.

11. John O' Callaghan & Kathryn Gallagher - Mess Of The Machine (Sean Tyas Remix) [Subculture/Armada]

The latest single to descent from John O'Callaghan's thirds artist album 'Unfold', is the dark, powerful 'Mess Of A Machine' featuring LA-singer Kathryn Gallagher. Could this be the next big thing to follow-up 'Big Sky'?

Singles 'Perfection', 'Save This Moment', 'Bring Back The Sun' and 'Talk To Me' made up for countless highlight moments in 2011.

Coming from the strong 14-pieced 'Unfold' album created by no one less than Irish producer/DJ John O'Callaghan, these singles put the hands up high, made the shout-outs shatter and the hearts pound faster. As 'Unfold' travels into 2012, it presents its next piece: 'Mess Of A Machine'. Featuring the deep, warm vocals of US vocalist Kathryn Gallagher, this atmospheric and somewhat eerie twist of prog and trance takes you in from the very first note.

With the original sitting on the proggy end, John gave Swiss-based producer Sean Tyas the duty to create a thick, powerful tech-trancy remix. And so he did. Dutchman Sied van Riel takes a completely different path to dance floor fixation, turning it into a playful bass-monster with immediate impact.
