What sort of programmer are you? I'm a programmer too!:) I write whatever software I need for the research I do.
I am a programmer as well, now I work with Java! I hate to be the construction of computer hehehe :grinning::P

For the last 11 years, I did programming for survey research companies, including scripting in SAX for SPSS. But I can program in anything. It doesn't matter. All programming languages do the same thing. Data in, process the data, data out. The only real differences are just syntax. :grinning:

Very true! I've worked with MATLAB and C for about 12 years, with smatterings of C++, IDL, Java, and MPI. Once you reach a critical mass of programming know-how, picking up a new language is quite easy.:grinning:

It's true,
I formerly scheduled in Natural Adabas and now began to work with Java, what is really changing the syntax.​
