hello
I've had something similar happen to me with Cubase a few times now you mention it, people have told me something is in mono even when it isn't. Never quite understood it!yoyo, im recording straight from a djm800 into 2 channels on a mixing desk. recording into a stereo channel on cubase
probs where im goijng wrong. dopster said it has been imaged. so im guessing i only need to use one channel on the desk for a stereo track on cubase. problem being u have to patch L & R from the 800 through to the mixing desk. very confusing (
sounds fine my end thoguh.

Only happens with Cubase though, so I'm thinking that it's a Cubase issue rather than you.
No idea why some people will hear it properly but others will hear it in mono though, perhaps it's down to different media players? I just can't think of any reason why something recorded in Cubase would be ok for some but not for others.
