(unpoof)
1st time today I've been able to completely boot up.
I've had continuous BSODs since I installed SP3 for my XP Pro. Apparently it's even worse bloatware than usual. My 2 1/2 year old memory couldn't handle it, I guess.
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
REGISTRY HIVE FAILURE
Constant, one right after the other every time I rebooted. I gave up and went to Best Buy.
Put the new memory into the primary slots and the old, worn out sticks in the secondary. Amazing.
The damn thing came right up, no problem. And Microsoft wants us to buy into Vista? They can't even do service packs decently. Excuse me while I puke.
