Some audio masterings are really bullshit these days. sometimes to loud, sometimes to low, to compressed, not fit for clubs, only for radio shows etc etc etc.
Some of my producer friends have to visit the SAE (School Of Audio Engineering) SAE Institute Amsterdam - Audio, Film, Web Education - SAE Amsterdam to learn more about mastering, really. You can destroy a wonderful song with a bad mastering.
