I do understand you're point of view, and agree with it. I also have a birth defect, along with chronic illnesses/allergies. Most people don't notice mine luckily, or they do and just don't say anything.

"C'mon, high four!" - guy in my class this morning (he would not be offended whatsoever), heck I may do it to him tomorrow when I see him.
