well with all this tuuunes coming out i don't understand why some trance producers are giving up, today i saw on FB an announcement from Mark Andrez telling he's going to give up and not producing more trance, he said he's fed up with crap pop/house/dubstep that is everywhere, damn it why give up? with this attitude trance will be swallow by that genres, it's our decision or the trance producer to revert this situation and produce trance and more trance, c'mon why giving up?

3 possible explanations:
- after ~10 years producing the same kind of music, a true artist might like trying something new
- unless you are backed up by a giant like Armada, with trance you don't make money
- after seeing (for example) Tiesto leave trance and the #1 Dj Mag position being occupied by a non-trance DJ, someone thinks that interest in Trance is decreasing

This said, yesterday in the Netherlands there were 4 Trance parties (two of which labeled as "Classics"), and none of them backed by Armada.
So I don't think that the "explanations" really hold :)
