05. Pryda: Power Drive

The swedish magic man does it once again! Eric Prydz seems to always nail wether it's under the name of Eric Prydz, Pryda or Cirez D. I wanted to play this already last month but for that deeper mix it was too full on. Also one of my current big room faves and suits nicely many kind of gigs from techno to trance and from small clubs to big arenas. Pity that Eric moved to US so chances of hearing him in Finland are even slimmer than before...

06. Super8 & Tab: L.A. (BT Remix)

Helsinki meets LA! American legend BT does his debut on Anjuna with a very nice remix for Super8 & Tab. The groove might be quite standard 2013 bassline action but it's the break and the details where BT's skills shine through. There is something very new and something very old school in this mix. Especially the rave vibey arpeggios in the breakdown tickle my 90s raver senses:) I like it!

07. Armin van Buuren: Last Stop Before Heaven

WOW! Armin van Buuren brings us one of the best Pure Trance tracks of 2013!! 10/10 from me, top track from his Intense album and great to see him showing the more underground side of trance to his more mainstream audience. This is the early 2000 deep & driving progressive trance sound perfectly brought to 2013. Can't wait to play this at the Pure Trance Helsinki event on June 8th where me and Solarstone will play a special 6h back2back set together for the first time.

Owwwyeah this is really nice indeed. The Intense album has been burned to the ground by basically everyone I know (including myself), but they all agree on this being one awesome track. Glad to see there is still a little real Armin left somewhere deep underneath all that commercial varnish.
 
08. Quincy Weigert: Raspberry Avenue (Paul Trainer Remix)

My favorite pick from Protoculture's recent mix CD. This is one of those tracks which perhaps isn't breaking any new boundaries but does it's own thing very well. Or maybe I'm liking it because it reminds me so much about Midtone's classic Pearl?

When hearing this I couldn't help but think that Armin wanted to show us all that he still knows how to make amazing _deep_ trance track. Which he did:)
