02. Todd Terje: Ragysh

Slow tempos seem to be the new black! Todd Terje's 'Ragysh' has amazing groove and drive at only 122 bpm. I've been opening quite a few sets recently with this when playing earlier sets and it always gets the heads nodding and fills the floor. There is something very summery and very Pryda like in this track. And the breakdown is pure bliss too...

There has to be some melody, keep the beats for the 2serious" business :D

What about the idea to start a set and finish it with the same song/remix of it? Sort of going on a journey and closing the "circle" by coming back to the same song. Is it such a weird idea? ;)

That is a great technique and used every now and then. Especially if you find two remixes of same track where one fits the beginning and one the end. I've used this couple times.

Dutch prog master does it again! Eelke Kleign manages to perfectly balance between great vibe and atmosphere, solid dancefloor friendly groove and 100% quality production. This upcoming release on Anjunadeep is already one of my alltime releases from the label and IMHO one of the best remixes from Eelke.

Eelke Kleijn is of the most talented producers in progressive trance, he haven't made a bad remix nor track yet imo. His album Untold Stories is one of the best artist albums in newer trance history.
