Yeah. No lie. That was VERY tacky what Republic Live did to him. He didn't have the normal DJ booth. They had half the club closed off. That kind of pissed me off. :P:cat:

Ha well there's a risk you take once you become a DJ. It's a good thing, but also a bad thing. Everytime you hear someone live... it's way different. Before, I couldn't hear mixes when they were happening, now I can hear them very clearly. When mixes are a tiny bit off... they sound bad. Marcus was double beating the whole night and the mixes just didn't go in well. Plus he threw in effects off time. He would always drop the filter like 16 counts too early and it bugged me a lot... >.<

Wait there is more to that club?!? That was my first time there and I was wasted when I arrived and completely gone when I left =/

Actually he spun at The Church here... Number 2 club in Colorado. The set up is club standard. 2 CDJ-1000 MK3's and a DJM-800. The booth monitors are plenty loud... I'm not trying to talk down on Marcus, because he is a GREAT producer. Maybe he was just having a bad night that night, or something else, I don't know. I would still see him again.

Haha, not for a while. I'm still trying to get booked here. I'm spinning at the club in January though. :]
But I'm moving to Minneapolis September 25th next year. Ha so we'll see what happens.
