On Christmas Day the Australians and the Turkish troops all laid down their arms, and can you believe this, sang Christmas carols to each other across the trenches, gave each other gifts and shook hands and laughed with each other..............no-one really wanted to fight....they just did what they were told............amazing story of great men on each side...............
