true, but scarlett, people call psy trance, it's wrong, psy is a unique genre can't be mixed, same with progressive, the maximum we can call it is EDM, this i agree, all are included in EDM, that is subdivided in that genres, well this is my opinion
this classification is still changing. everyone has his own opinion
but sometimes the border between two genres in one tune is so thin that it's almost impossible to define.but generally i think that progressive trance, tech-trance, hard trance are included in TRANCE
interesting discussion involving EDM here

haha, i liked it very much! it was one of my favourite 2007 tunes. but vocal was the worst element of this track

here goes
when it comes to Trance, in my book, Trance is a BROAD word, its not only focused on one particular sound as some ppl may think it is. If its got a 4/4 beat sequence, breakdown, build up, etc. has trance sounds (INCLUDING psy & goa sounds) then its TRANCE.
And not only that, i am a firm believer, in "There is no such thing as Real Trance", there is only forms of trance ranging from Psychedelic, to Tech Trance, To Progressive Trance, To Hard Trance, to Acid Trance, to Normal Trance (aka Uplifting, Anthem, Epic) and so forth.....
the others forms of music i call EDM (Electronic Dance Music) if they happen to be not a form of trance at all. (ie hard dance, breaks, ambient, synthpop, gabber, hardstyle, etc.)
i believe i've said more than anything here
