Russia's showing off its up and coming generation of EDM producer. Talents Cramp & Anton Firtich bring in a bulky E.P. with a playful character, 'Microwave Chicken' and 'Amazing'.

Both guys have earned their stripes in dance land, built a significant sound and now strike down on the Re*Brand label.

The dark, gloomy 'Microwave Chicken' is an absolute treat for those into thick bass, intricate melodies and heavy distortion. A peak-timer of prog delight. For the more trancy side of sound, you'll be loving 'Amazing', completely living up to its name.

composer and performer : ranks 1 and 2 to me. Any DJ is 3rd at most: only when remixing...

A composer can produce his creations very well without any of the numbers 2-4 :wink:
A performer's performance depends on a given composition. Yet a performer can do without a remixer or a DJ

In 2010, the young German producer Steve Brian released his debut album Calera on the famous imprint Euphonic Records. This amazing sampler presented Steve as one of the most promising talents in the scene, as it was proof of his versatility, exceptional production quality and his ability to mingle emotional melodies with balearic vocals.

Good things take time as they say, and so it took almost two years until we can now finally present the highly anticipated remix album - Calera Remixed.

Steve and Tool Records rounded up a bunch of capable producers, who were given the opportunity to create a brandnew interpretation of Steve´s beautiful album.
York, Dan Stone, Estiva, Cressida, Thomas Datt, Shato & Paul Rockseek, Sequentia, Wellenrausch, Solace & Solitude, MarShe as well as labelhead Reminder and Steve Brian himself - all chipped in different new mixes of the original album tracks. And if you are slightly familiar with the sound of tool records, it´s needless to say that the new album oozes quality.

The first single release of the new remix album, "Vueltas", with mixes by Dan Stone, Thomas Datt and Solace & Solitude, has already made its rounds in the clubworld to wet your taste for the rest of the album.
The second single release will be one of Steve Brian´s most famous tracks, the highly celebrated progtrancer "Yaya", featuring new remixes by Estiva and Cressida.

After numerous succesful single releases over the last two years, Tool Records is very proud to present its first album release and to showcase such an amazing list of talented producers in one epic bundle.

Make sure to check out all the tracks and let us know your favorite! As there is plenty of good stuff to choose from, we´re sure this will be a tough challenge!
