Born in July 1980...Scotland’s Mark Sinclair burst onto the global dance scene in the summer of 2006, under the guise "Terry Ferminal". With songs featured on huge labels such as High Contrast, Armada, Vandit & Blackhole, his productions have showed a wide variety of taste and most of all, longevity. As a kid growing up, with his jazz drumming dad, guitar weilding brother, and grandfather who was the local church pianist, his childhood was pure and simple...music. But it wasnt till he was aged 14, after years of tinkering with instruments, he decided to take things seriously and follow his family in pursuit of a career in music. This all began with piano lessons, an instrument which Mark still practices everyday. Shortly afterwards he discovered dance/techno, a genre which he soon developed a love for, prompting him to invest in a synthesizer and some DJ equipment. This led to an early demo being passed to a local DJ/Promoter, which in turn provided Mark with his first deal at the age of 15. In '97 he remixed Trevor Reilly’s single “Down With The Underground” for a major commercial release on Manifesto Records / PolyGram. In 1999 Mark decided it was time to try something else when he began playing keyboards for rock band “Jynx” (who later became known as “Skin On Skin”). They subsequently toured the UK for the next 3 years – supporting bands such as Ocean Colour Scene, Dogs Die In Hot Cars & Girls Aloud. These gigs included the huge “Free In The Dee” festival in Aberdeen to a crowd of over 60,000 - Afternoon live acoustic sets on BBC Radio Scotland - Late night TV appearances and even an MTV Breakout gig. In late 2003 Mark left the band to further pursue his musical education, and as a result is now currently a classically trained Grade 8 pianist. 2005 marked his return to dance music, a collaboration with "Scanners" titled "Feeling Good" which was signed to Erick Morillo's Subliminal Records. Shortly afterwards Mark adopted the guise, "Terry Ferminal". Since then he has had a string of successful hits, not to mention a few nice remixes. He now enjoys support from the industry's elite DJ's such as Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Sander Van Doorn, Above & Beyond, Matt Darey and many more... And from the start of Marks life in music, through to the present day. He has now become an extremely versatile musician, not only as a keyboardist and vocalist. But capable of turning his hand to almost any instrument, any style, and with ever evolving production skills. I truly believe we haven't even heard what this guy is capable of yet.
