Elyksir started clubbing when he was 18, going to some techno and house parties, but didnt really enjoy the music that was played, because it was lacking something- the magical spark of driving emotions. At that time he came across some livesets of Paul Oakenfold and Paul van Dyk and was instantly hooked to the sound they were playing. Later on he discovered Dutch Trance sound which was getting bigger and bigger with Tiësto and Ferry Corsten at the forefront of it. Beautiful melodies, uplifting beats and mesmerizing vocals were the main reasons why he loved that style so much and is still very keen on it. He missed that kind of music on Slovenian parties, so he decided to start playing it, not for the love of mixing but merely because he wanted to share the music he loved with others .. .. ..
