I like both, but I watch much more obscure stuff... I don't read manga because I don't trust translations and I can't read japanese well enough yet to read manga in only japanese... it's easier to watch anime with subtitles because I can still understand what they're saying most of the time in japanese and still get the english translation... I'm watching an older one right now called Fushigi Yuugi...

No I mean obscure like nobody's heard of it... like Air-Gear... Angelic Layer... Ai Yori Aoishi... stuff anime fans might watch that never makes it far in the US...
