Whereas most DJ's are bad producers, I prefer the 'self-made' sets by Ron more as his 'everybody else's tracks' sets. His own productions, especially the older ones, define a style by itself. You love the style, or you don't - but it's an identity. Something I can't say that much from most of the 'open' sets of Ron I've heard. To my taste, Ron's best performing as a producer. Other DJ's do better jobs with choosing a variety of different composers, creating some identity of their own :music:

Is a very valid apreciation, of course is bound to personal taste; Personaly i thin sets are trips with and start, a build and a fitting end, and some times that order is choose to be altered or even some part are taken away; but for those artist that choose to use only one kind of tune ( In most of the cases, this happens its their own tunes), are artist that have a very recognizable patern, like Ron or Tyas; and a such my conception of the sets as a trip dies with them

take this example you are going in a train and when you travel with Ron you keep seeing the same mountain again and again and again, but with X guy its different

in the end its taste but i think there is a little of objetivity here:ee
