What I'm not up to is walking 4km in the snow! How long does it normally take you, and couldn't you do something less time-consuming, like raise kids or count rice?

I'm still up to my neck in logarithms.

normally it takes me about 45 minutes, longer tonight though ...i don't like treadmills, makes me feel like a hamster on a wheel, i prefer the fresh air especially in the winter, in the summer i drive to a trail :)

if i had any kids they will certainly be counting the rice to keep them occupied, i'm too selfish so i don't have any, the cat and the fish keep me busy though :lol:

never heard of torture by logarithms...i guess the Spanish Inquisition missed on that one LOL

I would love to be able to have 45 minutes a day to dedicate to my physical well-being. As much as a I try to make the time...

Omg, Finished Symphony.
* relaxes measurably *

er, sorry... I never seem to make it work out. It always gets pushed back until after other things are done.

Deep thought alert: I've had people tell me that something changes when you have kids, and you suddenly start living for someone else, and it doesn't bother you like you expected it would. Do you really think it happens that way? Cause I'm pretty selfish too, dunno if I should have kids.

The Inquisition was before logarithms were invented. You can be sure they woulda used 'em if they were available!

you`re not trying hard enough, decide on the 45 minutes and even if the Earth comes crashing down you ignore it, its your time for yourself.

life sure does change when you have kids, and of course you live for them, you dedicate your life to them, and its the way it should be.

unfortunately the only way to find out is to have them, and not to say that you will be a bad parent, but its such a life changing experience that some people can`t deal with it, and realize it too late, and in the end the one that suffers is the child.

so IMO, it would be a lot more selfish to bring a child into the world and not give them 150% than deciding not to have them, its not something you can change afterwards without hurting a lot of people.....what i used to tell my friends is that a child is not some item you purchase in a store and get 30 days to return it if it does not suit you or you don`t like anymore.

tbh....i think its called being responsible rather than selfish, when it comes to such decisions.

<---------ugly sucker LMAO

is it just me that thinks the smiley in the title looks more like its foaming at the mouth rather than having a big grin?

forgot how good this set was :super:

Heh... my problem appears to be the number of minutes allocated to the earth-crash-ignorable events exceeds the number of minutes in a day.

I do agree with you that it's better to not have kids than be a poor parent. It could be selfishness, responsibility, fear or other reasons that keeps one from having kids. I often find that thoughtful adults can often think of a ton of reasons for not doing something, when ironically they might be some of the people you'd most want producing offspring.

Great fun tune now.

Frig, now I just discovered that I don't know quadratic equations either. What do I have to do, start over again at apples and oranges?

LMAO...why are you doing this?....would it stop the Earth from crashing down?

totally agree on that, but those are also people that realize that having kids just to keep a name going its not the real purpose.....

DINKhood is as good as Parenthood :)

Cause I'm sadistic and stubborn? That I've always felt inadequate because my math skills are less than what I believe I'm capable of?

Personality flaws or self-improvement, take your pick.

True, name means nothing. But what if you feel that your collection of genetic material is pretty evolved, and that you have a moral responsibility to provide it back to humankind's gene pool?

DINKWAC, more precisely:
Dual-Income, No Kids, With A Cat.

Edit: I got it, fertility clinic.
