Jordan Suckley ~ Quick Fire Interview!

Hi Jordan, Hope your ok and thank you for taking the time out to do a
mix and interview for us. First of all, the past few years for you
have been nothing short of amazing, so what have you been getting up
to so far in 2010 and what have you got planned for this year?

Its definitely been a crazy few years and I have lots of great memories!
Recently I have been keeping my head down in the studio working on my
debut vocal track (Jordan Suckley ft. Aminda- Patience) which is due
out on Spinnin. Also been doing a few remixes & collabs. So I have
plenty going on in the studio department.
Also had gigs lined up at Godskitchen, The Gallery, Inside Out, Planet
Love, Goodgreef, Fire it up, ElectroCity festival in Poland & loads of
other crazy stuff !




You are getting around a lot of clubs, which would you say are your
favourite events/clubs to play at and why?
Always love playing the Fire it up events because they are always
packed which always creates great atmospheres. Also Inside out in
Scotland & Planet Love in Ireland- all great events!


You are a resident and also label manager for the UK’s most exciting
and diverse club brand giants GOODGREEF, which have carved out careers
for Dj’s such as EDDIE HALLIWELL, ALEX KIDD, ADAM SHERIDAN, JOHN
O’CALLAGHAN...the list goes on, How would you describe working in such
a successful team?

- Its great to be part of the Goodgreef family, everyone is very
focused and everyone works hard to achieve the goals we have. Always a
great night out when we are all out together!



You have hit the producing hard and have had a string of successful
releases played by some of the top Dj’s, would you say is your
stronger passion, producing or Dj’ing?

- Well I love producing every day during the week but also love
playing to a packed & educated crowd so its hard to choose but I would
say Djing is my favourite passion due to the buzz you get when its
really going off in a club!



When you’re not travelling the length and breadth in and out of clubs
or in the studio, what do you like to do in your spare time?


To be honest I dont really do much else apart from produce during the
week/ dj at weekends. But if I have a rest I just watch films. I love
what I do so dont feel the need to do much else.


Which Dj’s/producers on the circuit at the moment are catching your eye?

- John O'Callaghan, Matt Zo, Marcus Schossow, Ummet Ozcan, Simon
Patterson, Sander van Doorn, Jochen Miller, Myon & Shane 54, Daniel
Portman, Greg Downey, Bart Claessen, Lange, Gareth Emery, Deadmau5,
Activa... The list goes on



Last but not least, where would Mr Suckley like to be in ten years from now?

- Hopefully have my own Llama farm set up living in Kent with my nan
and her dog Gerald.
