I never like to say this, but I am just not enjoying this set. I'm hearing out-of-sync transitions, awkward pitch shifts, and way too much up-fader-wiggling (or whatever that's called.) The track selection has been nice for me, heard a good unfamiliar remix of a track I really enjoy, some good classics; I sang along with a couple tracks. But the technique is proving a little disappointing. =[

Am I hearing R.E.N.O.I.S.E. vs. Shifted Reality - In Flames? I AM! Shifted Reality Remix!

One of my favourite all-time tracks, and the first time I've ever heard anybody play it except for ONE episode of GDJB. Despite the questionable technical performance, whoever is DJing, I love you.

The bass line melody, though simple, is so beautiful... and then comes the higher-range melody in harmony with the bass..

It's got the beauty of a prog track mixed with the uplifting feeling of trance.

Perfect way to end the set, mate!

In the end, I voted Decent. The last track really helped with that. But, my reasons for the low rating are mentioned above. If I vote anything other than Massive, I always state why.

And to all DJs out there: if you ever play that last track and I'm in the crowd, I -will- break into tears of joy.
