Very true - he usually mixes the overall mood a lot better imo even when he chooses to go much more house-centric.

leon's show finished i post here... 4 user who supporting monthly this station voted: 1 decent and 3 did not enjoy it, it is sure we need a "big named" dj to play here shit, or what we are supporting, or you? as me i love this station what help me so much and i said i will support while i can and i don't mind few dollars, anyway i would don't sent any cent for so much shit playing lately not only leon bolier, what your thoughts i would kick these out :hmmm:

I agree, first of all I respected Leon's old trance sets very very much! but this is a trance progressive radio. Though AH.FM does not control what they upload (I understand) this has been for months now. I do not support that either. Sorry I can even give you trance sets myself if you want to avoid commercialism...

There is a catch 22 to all this - some shows I've really liked. This one I didn't like the tracks.

Frankly, if this station only catered to one sound, say Uplifting Trance, I'd pull my subscription because I find most uplifting very boring and under developed.

Secondly, if we don't have a lot of listeners for any given show in general, I wouldn't put too much faith in a poll of who liked it. The subscribers will listen and vote, but even I don't listen to a bunch of shows here (other things to do at work / home that require my own musical ear to do its work).

Some people could really dislike Solarstone's radio show, because he doesn't focus only on Trance for example, especially given the community here. If an artist is not putting effort into their show, I can see cutting them. Being a former radio show host (and possibly soon to be again), I know personally how hard it is to have stellar episodes all the time. The invasion of so-called "Progressive House" into artists sets shouldn't be shocking.

Ahhh... I'm hajacking, I'll shut up LOL

I've listened to a lot of trance "styles" over the years. Progressive and Uplifting Trance being my favorite for listening. I wanted to listen to Bolier's set today just to hear something different. When I realized it was Electro, I ended up not paying much attention to it. All I know is I did not enjoy it and probably won't listen again. There are certain shows I won't listen too and I tune in other stations or listen to whatever I can find on soundcloud, mixcloud, youtube, etc. I mean no disrespect to the DJs on this station for the "styles" of music they choose to play. That's my personal conclusion.

I understand, buying true trance has become like an infinite search among a thousand of of cheesy wrong labeled tracks to still find a near 1% decent, but many support this radio to hear the amazing trance/progressive. Some DJs do an excellent job and we really love it! Uplifting becomes often cheesy and under-developed (Nice word choice, however I know how freaking difficult it is so I shut up).

However... some artists are 100% gone in electro/commercial way of these days, fine ok, but here? That way I guess many other stations are available. AH.FM is unique in trance and some want to keep it that way. I respect everyone's choice, but some frank cleaning is needed.
