When trance was at the uprise of becoming one of EDM's most popular genres, the was one track to rose along with it. In 1999, UK producer duo Ed Goring and Mark McCormick touched a generation of trance lovers, as their track 'Sunrise' hit the speakers. In 2005, they peaked with their A State of Trance E.P. of 'Halcyon' and 'Only With You', but never did they level the grand success of their club classic 'Sunrise'. For a while, things have been pretty quiet around Goldenscan. But that's about to change. Last year, the guys re-launched Goldenscan. And what better way to start than with their very first release? This is 'Sunrise': updated, upgraded and uplifted.
Sun started shining again, with a new dose of energy kicking in on the 2011 version of 'Sunrise'. It hasn't lost its 90's trance character, but it does have the feel of 2011. With a grand set of kicks, sturdy bass and synths, Goldenscan rocks us once again. The melody will get stuck in your head, like never before. The whispered vocals take you right back to the dancefloors of more than 10 years ago, only to find out your passion for quality trance hasn't faded.
UK duo Neptune Project, known for their 'Rhea', 'Aztec' and 'Atlantis', handle the remix duties on this one. Kicking in with acid-inspired swirls, a lush, mind-dazzling break and all energy you need to party for many more hours, this is one remix you shouldn't skip!
