speaking of styles, i wish Bexta had made a set for this event :bully:

i still have it fresh in my memory of her playing hardstyle on here :angel::lol:

I think you will find that a good many djs are of the same mind. In general originality is not the name of the game, sadly. This event as far as i'm aware is not supposed to be a greatest hits of year affair. It should be a show case for originality, an opportunity to really show what they can come up with, a chance to really surprise us. But sadly that seems not to be the case. What a pitty. Some have made a real effort, but a great many more have not:(

I was thinking of doing a best of the year mix but I already did one back in October for Uplift Day and to be honest ive not been overly inspired with the trance thats come out last quarter.

None the less a great deal of effort went into producing my show and I hope you all enjoyed it but I eneded up just playing the latest stuff. Im not sure about the other DJ's but I always put 100% into my mixes including several retakes normally when things dont go exactly as planned. On the grounds most DJ's here seem to use software I cant comment for them as I use real decks. Maybe im a fool?!

ANyway your feedback is always important and if you guys want certain types of sets then you should tell the DJ's that, afterall thats our job to entertain you :)

Its a great event and i love it. Its just that im realising that there's some talented guys here and you have the guys that i would only invite to play at a high school event....

:iagree: as i follow Amadeus much, he did a voting strategy on his show same as Armin did and he got same results from the listeners so he just followed that path here and mixed the results of the voting. If you don't have it , ill PM you the list to see the results of the voting. but i've seen Amadeus live many times and when he goes uplifting he'd be unstoppable but he's just trying to please the masses :)
