Not the particulars. My guess is licensing. Rich changes licensing organizations and probably wanted to push some tracks earlier without being mired in the legal issues of transfers and what not. I know some artists already signed new contracts on solarSwarm in support of the new company and the transfer of rights from Dharma.

That being said, he could want to do an identity swap of sorts between Solaris, Crashing Waves, and now Touchstone. I also imagine he wanted to kick off the label with a known presence.
