Like I said, it depends highly on the context.

Read your mutual posts. The context here is a very mixed one. Individuals of all different countries, different customs and attitudes, different feelings. Plus: all is ' translated ' into English for those with another (non-Anglo-Saxon) background. Pretty complicated :hmmm:

I think my first time listening to this dj - been busy w/other things lately.

* Now Listening: 724 ~ 68 Tempo Giusto - 4YAMC on AH.FM *

what kind of pancakes did u have? :)

:cap: Easy & quick to consume ones. Supermarket has three qualities. I always choose premium quality. Those do taste best as well :grinning:

Yep. My feelings are to not take offense unless such was clearly intended, and I didn't get that from the op's context. I have had black friends reference me a "nigger" before, as in "wazzup nigga".

In forums it is even further complicated by lack of intonation and absence of non verbal clues, to boot.

Edit: Which is not to say that such usage should be given carte blanche. Only that in THIS particular instance, it was far from clear to me that the OP intended anything more than a greeting.
